Buyers need to make their purchases through a network of third-party suppliers either by ordering online or visiting them in person. This is a clever set-up, as it allows the new shopping website to sidestep government rules restricting foreign multi-brand retailers from operating in India. The shopping website does not sell products directly but only leads buyers to websites of retailers.
